Selected works of the late Mars Galang are also on view at Gallery 2. Titled Works from the ‘60s, the retrospective recalls the artist’s abstract expressionist paintings in the 1960s. Galang would use discarded objects, like worn-out shoes, and sew them into the canvas, blending into the abstract compositions.
