Wire Tuazon will open his 6th solo exhibition entitled ‘Peligro’ on September 19, Thursday 6pm at West Gallery at the Artwalk of SM Megamall, Bldg. A Mandaluyong City.
To be featured are Tuazon’s most recent paintings incorporated into an installation work consisting of animal bones, skulls and bullhorns. These objects scattered on the floor, extending to the wall bridges the essential meaning of existence, isolation, diagnosis and confinement.
A member of Surrounded By Water, an independently run exhibition space for young artist, Tuazon has been actively participating in group exhibitions. The most recent of which was “From the Sea of Trees’ held in Ashiya City Museum of Art and History in Japan last year. This December, Tuazon will take part in the collective exhibition ‘Under Construction’ at the Tokyo City Opera Gallery sponsored by the Japan Foundation Asia Center.
The exhibition ‘Peligro’ will run until the 1st of October, 2002.
