Sixty Nine Dot Dot Dot

About the Exhibition

Frederick Sausa’s Sixty Nine Dot Dot Dot features seven panels of oil and acrylic works on stretched canvas and installation pieces. “This exhibit will be a celebratory marker,” describes Sausa. It will include ideas and historical facts from 1969, the year he was born. Twelve panels connote the months of the astral cycle, in which portraits and events from that year will revolve around political figures, literary achievements, scientific breakthroughs, and other significant events.

“This age marks the omnipresent youth rebellions, pop art, and the advent of New Age thinking,” says Sausa. “The theme usually delves on unfinished thought, intentional omission of a word or phrase in pictures…” There are suspension points on the photo-references, representing black holes, bare ground, or punched pictures.
